Internship Program

God is doing great things at High Street, and we want you to be a part of it! Joining the High Street Internship Program will provide you with an opportunity to become involved in a hands-on approach to ministry.

This is an unpaid internship, however the program is built in such a way that it is very possible to go to school and have a part time job. When most people think of an internship, they have visions of busy work, fetching coffee, picking up dry cleaning, and making copies… but by becoming a High Street intern you will actually get to contribute to a team of individuals who are working toward the advancement of the Gospel. Oh, don’t worry – you will probably be tired from all the hard work! After all, changing the world takes a lot of effort and dedication. But there is no greater satisfaction than getting to see the Kingdom of God advanced because of your efforts.

It’s a calling. It’s a privilege. And above all, it’s a chance to be empowered. We have no desire to raise up a generation of great coffee makers. We want to raise up a generation of world changers and leaders, people who are awakened to the God-given potential inside of them to make an impact for the glory of God. We hope that you will consider joining our team as we strive to Love God, Serve People and Reach the World. changing the world takes a lot of effort and dedication. But there is no greater satisfaction than getting to see the Kingdom of God advanced because of your efforts. If you are 18 to 26 years old apply today!

Youth

Available: Summer/Fall Semester/Spring Semester
2 Interns Per Session
10 – 20 Hours a week

There is no better way to prepare the Church for the future than by investing in our youth. This generation is a passionate group of students who are trying to find their place in life, as well as a cause to live for. As a High Street Youth intern, you will have the opportunity to invest in the next generation by helping teenagers discover their identity and purpose in Christ.  This internship will equip leaders who have a desire to invest in the next generation.

Around 70% of young adults in America end up leaving the church after high school. This means there are numerous students who don’t see the purpose of the church once they transition out of the youth group. Our desire is to help students love the local church and see the bigger picture of ministry outside of High Street Youth. We desire to Love God, Serve People, and Reach the World alongside every generation in the church.

In his role at High Street, Pastor Tom acts as Executive Pastor and oversees the Youth Ministry. You will be working with Tom Demers. Tom has worked at High Street since 2002. He graduated from Boston Baptist College and holds an M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty University.
