Pastor Clyde Gray Speaking
We want to welcome everyone to the services this Sunday. Pastor Clyde Gray will be speaking to us with a message entitled "Insulating the Fellowship of Christ."
Pancake Breakfast
Camp is quickly approaching and many students are working hard to raise funds for camp. One of the ways you can help is by eating a healthy, delicious, nutritious breakfast! Helping someone never tasted so good. On July 11th from 8-10am, High Street student ministries will be hosting an all you can eat pancake breakfast at Applebee's on North Glenstone. Look for a High School or Jr. High Student this Sunday to purchase your ticket for only $5!
Lord’s Supper
Join us on July 12th for a special service as we observe the Lord’s Supper during our morning worship services. When we take the Lord’s Supper together, it is a time for us to remember and proclaim. It is also a time for us to evaluate where we stand before the Lord. These moments of evaluation are times of great victory as we seek and receive the forgiveness of God and re-commit ourselves to following Jesus with all our heart.
Connection Cards
We are continuing to implement the connection card here
at High Street. In just three short weeks we have already seen some
amazing results! We have been able to minister more effectively to
dozens of people who are interested in becoming more involved. Most
importantly, we have been able to celebrate that several people have
come to know Christ in recent weeks! With this in mind, we encourage
you to keep participating in the use of the connection card!
Guest Speakers
Reverend David Melton will be a special guest speaker on Sunday, July 10th. Reverend Melton has been the president of Boston Baptist College since 2005 and is also Senior Pastor of MetroWest Baptist Church. He will bring us a special message you won't want to miss! On July 26th, Gio Llerena, the Chaplain for the Tampa Rays professional baseball team and Assistant Director for the Caribbean Baseball Chapel of America will be giving his testimony. Make sure to mark your calendars for these special events!
