Our challenge to you is for you to seek God as to what he would have you do for missions. There are so many opportunities for you to serve daily in missions and as a missionary. We are enjoying serving High Street in the area of missions, and we are enjoying serving God along with you.

As I go through my daily routines, I used to take the statement "Pray for our Missionaries" lightly. After having the privilege to be a part of a mission trip, and spending time with a few of our missionaries in their daily walk, I will never take for granted the awesome call that they have answered to and the fact that they truly need our prayers.

It is my prayer that each of us will look to God for our guidance in where we will serve, whether it be in our home town or in a foreign land.

I am sincerely grateful to High Street and our Missionaries for allowing me to team with them as a member of the missions committee to reach souls for Jesus Christ.

What an awesome privilege to serve on the Missions Committee here at High Street Baptist Church. I am honored to be a part of this team and I look forward to serving our church.

Missions is a significant part of my family's life and I am excited about being able to help send, support and pray for our missionaries. High Street has had a direct impact on many of the mission fields around the world. By our support and prayers throughout the years, we have had fruit abound to our account. Having had the opportunity to go to a couple of different mission fields and having seen first hand some of our own missionaries at work has made me want to do more. My prayer for High Street is that we will never think that we have done enough, there is always more to be done. I look forward to hearing more of our people say, "I will go." Please pray for the leadership of our church and for the Missions Committee.

Growing up at High Street you learn the importance of missions. Through our conference, speakers, fish fry, or just walking through our halls you can see that it is a central part of our church. When asked to serve on the Missions Committee I thought of several reasons why not to serve. Other than a general interest in missions I had never really been involved with missions. I agreed to pray about serving on the Missions Committee. That night I prayed about it and the Lord showed me that this was where I needed to be serving. My family and I are looking forward to ministering to our Church and our Missionaries in this capacity.
