Giving at High Street

One of the greatest ways we can worship is by giving to the Lord. All donations are secure and tax deductible. Please print or save a copy for your records.

If you have questions or need help with online giving, please contact the church office during normal business hours and ask for someone to help you with online giving.

We encourage you to be responsible with credit cards and provide this method of giving as a convenience.

Per IRS regulations, all funds given may be used for purposes other than specific designations.

Online Giving for High Street is managed by eGive (www.e-giveusa.com).

Where Does the Money I Give Go?

There are a number of giving categories at High Street. We hope this helps you understand each area better.

Tithe

This is the money given by members of the church for the ministry we do in Sprinfield, MO. This allows us to do the work of ministry, pay our bills and maintain our building. Tithe literally means 10% and is a principle established throughout the Bible as a minimum for giving.

Missions

Missions is money given above the tithe for the purpose of sending missionaries all over the world. As a church, we currently support over 130 missionaries and mission projects. This includes missionaries on every continent (except Antarctica). Each fall, we have a missions conference and host some of these missionaries. We build our missions budget every year based on the money promised (anonymously) at our annual conference.

Manna

Manna Worldwide is a non-profit organization which raises funds to feed needy children around the world. We partner with them to provide a feeding center in Thailand. The primary purpose of their ministry is to build churches as part of the feeding centers.

PowerPacks

PowerPacks is a partnership between High Street and Manna. We are the pilot program for feeding children who don't get enough food at home. Twice a month during the school year, we provide food to over 160 children at Weller Elementary School. Your money directly goes to feeding these children.

Building

This may seem obvious, but it takes a lot to keep our building maintained. When you give to this, it allows us to keep this maintenance up.
