Tithe

Jesus acts as our ultimate example in every part of life, and the area of giving is no exception. We give, not because Jesus needs our money, but because we need to become more generous like Jesus. As we consistently and sacrificially give of our finances, we help to support the work of High Street as it serves the city of Springfield.

The World Project

As Jesus left His home (heaven) to bring hope to us, we leave our home (Springfield) to take that same hope to people around the world. High Street currently support over 130 missionaries and projects in various global locations. Every penny given to High Street's missions endeavors helps to spread the gospel in word and deed in countries all across the globe.

We currently support over 130 missionaries and mission projects. Money given to missions should be above the tithe and is used to help send missionaries all over the world. Each fall, we have a Mission Conference and host some of these missionaries. The annual missions budget is based on the money promised (anonymously) at our annual conference.

PowerPacks

If Jesus was concerned with helping those in need, then His church can do no less. Our Power Packs ministry exists to serve children at a local elementary school who are in need of meals on the weekend. Twice a month Power Packs provides weekend meals to children who would otherwise go without. This ministry serves as a practical way for High Street to be like Jesus as we love our city.

OneSolePurpose

The OneSole Purpose organization was founded by members of High Street. Each years it seeks to raise the necessary funds to put a new pair of shoes on every elementary student in Springfield's Title 1 schools. This incredible endeavor strives to bring a bring a practical form of hope from our soul to their sole.

Restore The Orphan

God loves orphans and so should the church. At High Street, it is our desire to help families as they provide a "forever home" for a child. In order to facilitate this effort, we have a fund to assist with expenses. Money will only be paid to a legitimate adoption agency. Qualified applicants must be active members of High Street for at least one year. If you would like to give toward this effort, please indicate the amount on your giving form.

KidStreet Reimagined

We are launching KidStreet Reimagined with the goal of being able to reach more kids. This will involve a complete remodel of our children’s area that is over 16,000 square feet. This will cost somewhere over a million dollars. We want to accomplish three things:

• Exciting Large Group Auditorium
• Safe and Secure Children’s Area
• Engaging Lobby and Teaching Environments

How will we raise a million dollars? We already have $100,000 to begin this project. If 300 people give $1,000 a year or $20 a week over 3 years, that would be approximately a million dollars. If 600 people give $500 a year or $10 a week over 3 years, that would be approximately a million dollars. Our theme is the same as when this building was built, NOT EQUAL GIFTS, EQUAL SACRIFICE. No gift is too small. God may put it on your heart to give a large gift. For all of us this effort will require sacrifice.
