Gary and I recently returned from a trip to Paris. We got home on Sunday night before the terrorist events happened on following Friday. The first thing on our minds were what if we had been there. Then we began to think about what if we had a team there when these events took place.

On Guard!

“On guard!” So begins the match in fencing. Each opponent bring his saber up, ready to parry and strike. The fencer who is not on guard will be struck and lose the match. As men, we must constantly be on guard. The prophet Malachi warned the men of Israel: “Be on your guard.” These men were upset because God was ignoring them. He would not accept their offerings. Why? Because of the way they were treating their wives.

The Fear of Being the Only One
